Description: Up for auction is a beautiful SS Feldpost stampless cover from the Lichtenberg hospital sanitation camp in Berlin to the SS officer's mess in Berlin. Postmarked March 24, 1942. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Very nice postal history cover. Lichtenberg was an early concentrarion camp used by the Nazi government between 1933 and 1939. It was also heavily involved in the euthanasia program where mentally and physically disabled people were killed. After the war it was used as a Stasi prison by the East German government.
