1968 Chevrolet Chevelle

Description: 1968 Chevelle SS 396 325hp 4spd power steering power brakes factory air conditioning tinted glass bucket seats console and full gauge package am radio. Car was stored in a garage from the early 80's till 2024 without moving. The miles are correct with just over 40 thousand original miles. This car is a time capsule with all items being the factory assembly line pieces. All numbers match from the block, trans and rear end even the alternator is original. Carb is original along with the smog pump it even has the original belts and radiator hoses from 1968. All the hose clamps are original to the car.The interior is completely original as to the dash, seats and carpet door panels and rear package shelf have had aftermarket speakers added. Driver seat has the pinchwelt on the side has worn thru so it is exposed.I have gone thru the fuel system flushed it and replaced the fuel pump the original pump will come with the car. Brakes have been gone thru also calipers rebuilt with all new fluid. The car runs and drives like a 40k mile car would. The shifter is smooth with no hang ups clutch is great with no chatter. All components are operational, yes everything works including the air conditioning. All gauges radio, lights, tach, and fan all work like they should the though the clock starts intermittently. The car has never had any major body damage or rust anywhere. The body panels have never been cut or repaired.The floors are solid front to back and frame is the same way. The engine starts easily and runs very quietly with no smoking. The car was repainted in 1978 in acrylic enamel. The body is straight but the paint is driver quality, minor dirt flecks and orange peel. The glass is original to the car. Bumpers have a few small dings. I have the original rally wheels with new Goodyear tires from 1982 that have never been used. I have driven the car about 50 miles with no issues but the last system I have not completely gone thru is the cooling system it will need new hoses and belts before I would trust it on a long trip. It has no leaks oil or water. I do not have a build sheet but on this car all you need to do is look at it nothing has been removed or altered. I have a copy of the original title from where the first owner purchased it in Arizona when in the military. I have clear title in my name. Lowball offers are a waste of time I would like to sell but don't have to. Sorry no trades
