Description: You were looking at a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS styled with a numbers matching drive chain factory 350 V8. This car has undergone an extensive Frame off refresh in the last 7 year. The car itself has an original 77K but everything in this car has been gone through refreshed or redone. This is Power brake, Power steering car with Cowl induction hood. Drivetrain and Suspension- The Chevelle has the original numbers matching 350 engine and automatic turbo 350 transmission. Both have less than 2500 miles from an extensive complete refresh. The engine was sent out the machine shop and the transmission went out to be rebuilt. Both were still in perfect working condition but no expense was spared to just make them that much better. As far as the engine a factory period correct GM mild camshaft and an Edelbrock four barrel intake with Holley carburetor with electronic ignition. it also has long tube headers and some Dynaflow mufflers for a little extra sound that is about as far as it went for a performance upgrades. This car is meant to be a daily driver if wanted, with just a little extra power. The transmission has a stock rebuild on it with mild upgraded converter and upgraded clutches. The rear gear ratio is perfect for highway cruising this car will do 60 to 70 on highway with no problem and a lower RPM. The suspension of course has also been completely gone through bushings, body mount bushings and so on are all done, This car drives unbelievable. The bushings in the suspension are factory rubber, but I do have complete polyurethane bushings brand new in the boxes for pretty much everything that go with the car. Polyurethane bushings were not used because they do add a little stiffness and noise which was not wanted and this car has no squeaks no rattles at all it's a super enjoyable car to drive. Condition- The interior has new carpets all new seat coverings, headliner is beautiful and in great shape. Everything on the interior is still factory styled original with the exception of the b&m floor shifter, upgraded Wood wheel and the Alpine radio. It also has a tack and some additional gauges. All the factory gauges do work perfect speedometer and odometer. The fuel gauge works as well. Electronically everything in this car works down to every turn signal light, brake light,marker, high beam and low beam there's absolutely nothing that does not work. This car had a complete paint refresh including undercarriage and there is zero rust anywhere on this car. This is not a bondo bucket, this car is solid with a ton of money spent on this. The paint is absolutely beautiful this car turns heads and starts conversations whatever it goes. The tires are basically new with Cragar staggered polished wheels. The brakes have all been replaced of course. I Don't mean to be repetitive in this listing but this car truly has everything done and needs nothing. I just drove this car 75 mi two days ago and it drives like a dream, I don't think you can get any better unless you had a time machine and went back to 1972. The only imperfection to talk about is there is a small less nickle sized touched up chip right above the exhaust pipe on the right rear lower quarter, otherwise nothing to talk about. The car lives its life in a garage.
