Description: SilverBack® High Strength is a high quality crawl space vapor barrier made in the USA. This vapor barrier has a bright white surface and a silver back. This crawl space vapor barrier is available in 20 Mil (actual thickness) and is 46” x 85’ for 325 Sq Ft total Coverage. SilverBack® HS is reinforced with cross hatched polyethylene ribbon for unrivaled strength. SilverBack® HS is made from first use virgin polyethylene resin. The top layer is pure white and helps your crawl space look clean and bright. This layer reflects light very well, allowing you to use fewer light sources to get the light you need to see and inspect your crawl space. The roll is 46” wide and 85’ long. For shipping cost and convenience we roll it up on a 46” wide cardboard core. This allows for easy handling. It is recommended to measure your crawl space first and then cut the SilverBack® crawl space vapor barrier in your yard or driveway. Smaller pieces will be easier to carry into the crawl space and install. The vapor barrier should overlap 8’-10” on the floor and minimum of 4” on the wall. Seams should be taped using a high quality vapor barrier seam tape like WaterProof Seam Tape™ to help keep moisture under the vapor barrier.
