Description: Hey all. Pics describe it best. Split 16"x8" flat belt wheel. Speculating the 1 3/4-2" center steel shackle type system was used to house and hold tight a shaft most likely coming from a power source(water,steam,whatever) in order to then transfer that over to the belt stretches taut between it and wherever the power was needed. OR, just thought of this. Could of been on like an idler pulley to keep tension. Ha. Who knows. I'm sure someone. But me. It's 16" around 8"wide with the hole being 1 3/4". Most likely be adjustable to about 2" I'd say while still maintaining the gripping surface within the circumstance. Any?s just ask.
