Description: This American Flyer passenger car set includes four cars, each measuring 19 inches in length and 5 inches in height. The cars are in two-tone blue color and are replicas of Pullman cars. They are made of pressed steel, brass, cardboard, tin, plastic, and steel materials, with a scale of 1/29. Pieces in set include: The Commander 4689 Details to note: some of the decorative brackets that hold the rails along the roof line on both sides are missing and some those included are loose. There are three on each side, including one at the ends and one in the middle - While the loco is very heavy (assuming engine mechanism is inside), there are no contacts or connections to drive or power the wheels. Please review photos - there are nice close ups of the underside. There are also lights on the top front and back of the cab, but no wiring or contacts to the wheels seemingly to draw power. Either this is a beautiful replica per the nameplate on the bottom to simply be an amazingly pretty shelf queen set - or it is missing proper wiring as other similar pieces available do show wiring, power and lighting and even sound.
