Description: Dick Bartley liked to split his shows into a couple of hours featuring an artist (this week The Four Seasons) and the other two hours featured the month and year (this week January 1966.). It's another unbeatable production, taking us deep into the Four Seasons catalog and turning the time machine back to the first of the year1966 for songs like "As Tears Go By" by The Rolling Stones! It's a great show, and as usual Dick includes 4 bonus tracks "in the clear" for stations that need them in their library. This week Track 7 is the rock classic "My Back Pages" by the Byrds-the album version, then Track 8: "My Back Pages" the 45 edit. Then Track 9: "Don't Think Twice It's Alright" by the Wonder Who, and Track 10: "Silence Is Golden" by the Four Seasons. (One of those rare times someone outdid the Four Seasons--The Tremeloes had the bigger hit.) This is another gem for collectors of radio shows, and they sure aren't making any more of them (on CD, anyway!)
