Description: For Your Consideration we are proud to present this Edwardian 14k White Gold Filigree Diamond Stick Pin. This pin hails from a Florida antique store that closed 30 years ago. A few years ago the 90-year-old widow of the antique store decided to sell the inventory left over from the store, and this stick pin was among thirty other stick pins, all with a little hand-written price tag. The ink is faded on the price tag, but it is still readable. The diamond seems to be an old mine-cut diamond and it is quite nice indeed. This kind of filigree work was popular circa 1920, and all the details seem to place the stick pin within that time-period. The pin has been used, and although the end is sharp, there is a slight wiggle in the shaft. A few of the other stick pins in this collection appear unused, so we have a good idea of how to determine signs of use in this category of jewelry. If you collect 14k gold diamond filigree stick pins, this auction is for you as this stick pin is an outstanding example of the type.
