Description: VERY RARE VINTAGE 1940’s to 1950’s ERA .950 STERLING SILVER HIGHLY ENGRAVED UNSIGNED ITALIAN MAKER WESTERN TEXAS RANGER STYLE BELT BUCKLE— Many of these 950 sterling buckles from the mid 20th century were made in Italy, as they predominantly used this higher grade of sterling in their products during that era. We estimate that this is one of them. It is rare because we don’t think that the ranger style belt buckle was commonly produced in that country much. There is very HIGH DETAIL hand engraving on this one and the naturally aged patina makes the engraving stand out even more. PLEASE NOTE THE SIZE OF THIS BUCKLE……The dimensions are 1 7/8” x 1 5/8” and it has an opening to accept belt straps up to 3/4” wide. The weight is about 3/4 of an ounce.
