Description: Aynsley C980 Pink Rose Turquoise & Gold Bone China Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1939 Beautiful vintage porcelain bone china tea cup and saucer. Decorated in the C980 pattern with a pink rose and small blue forget me not flowers in the center. With a wide turquoise border with gold gilt net / lattice and leaf overlay. The outside of the cup is white with a thin gold band. Marked on the bottom Aynsley England Bone China. This mark was used around 1939. Has some minor wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 5/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. HS LW
