Description: Interesting sample of a Calcite Marble rock comprised of blue Quartz crystals and hundreds of Pyrite crystals peppered throughout it. Collected by a friend on his property who sent me a few samples. I broke one of the samples into smaller pieces to see a fresh interior. There are some larger Calcite crystals embedded in the rock that fluoresce orange under long wave UV light. Use magnification to get a good look at the well formed Pyrite crystals.
