Description: This is a very attractive goliath with a great dial. It is dedicated to Engine No.1003 Railroad Engine with raised gold-colored cartouches. Not tested for gold content. It has gold highlights in the chapter ring, and a beautiful black dial. Not tested for content. This is a great watch and would be a great addition to any fine collection. It is 65mm in diameter. It does wind and set properly without issues. It is pin-set and stem wind. The stem is in two parts: the crown with very short stem that has an open square bottom and the internal stem in the movement. It would be best to remove the balance assembly before attempting to remove the movement from the case. It is a very tight fit. Pictures are a part of the description, so please examine them closely. Watch ran very well through the evening and overnight, however not tested for duration or accuracy, but seems to have kept good time. Regulator works properly, so time can be adjusted. Case has not been polished and does show lots of wear, spotting and rust. May need lots of cleaning and a resto job. Case back does not close properly and only seems to stay shut when the inner back case cover is still open. Will need some work. The dial is very attractive and busy, but it appears that the numbers may have been wiped clean off. Inside of the case does show lots of spotting some discoloration, fading, dirt and rust. A good resto project for the right person. Perfect for collectors. Pictures are part of the description. Please look closely and ask questions. Watch has been stored for many years and should be serviced. Great timekeeper and an AWSOME Display Piece. Don't miss out. Please feel free to ask questions, and I will respond as quickly as I can. I will sell only to a U.S. address, unless you are using Ebay's Global Shipping. Always open to offers. Aloha!
