Description: ~*~ Hello and welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~*~ Gorgeous Farmhouse Upcycled Grain Sack Table Runner! This is a gorgeous sack! It really needs a clean, but once cleaned, wonderful! We adore this textile. It was once an intact grain sack and we have cut it and now it is the perfect table runner (please see the many additional uses for these textiles below)! The sack dates to the late 1800s and was once used to carry grain to a mill. The various colors and patterns were a way for the miller to identify the family from which they came. Now, it has a new life bringing joy and style to your dining table, hallway table , living room console, bedroom dressing table or any other surface! Each runner is completely unique. This textile is one of a kind- truly a work of art. We adore the way these look, and the way they blend a rich and interesting history with an artistic design. Perfect for a French country, cottage, or eclectic kitchen aesthetic. Wonderful for having family and friends gather at the table together without worrying if things get messy- these are not only stylish but utilitarian as it can be simply hand washed or dry cleaned. The warm tones are perfect for brightening a cool late fall or winter night! No two are the same, so you will have a 100% unique work of textile art on your table, and just imagine sharing the rich history of these textiles with your family and friends over a delicious meal! I use these all over my house, every single room!
