Description: ~*~ Hello and welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~*~ Gorgeous Farmhouse Upcycled Grain Sack upholstery fabric ( etc!) Lovely natural wool browns, with colorful seams on the edges! A Beauty ~ It was once an intact grain sack and we have cut it and now it is the perfect using for upholstery fabric or decorative tablecloth ! The sack dates to the late 1800s and was once used to carry grain to a mill. The various colors and patterns were a way for the miller to identify the family from which they came. We simply cut a grain sack along one edge and the across the bottom where it was folded. Now, it has a new life bringing joy and style to your home! Each textile is completely unique. This textile is one of a kind- truly a work of art. We adore the way these look, and the way they blend a rich and interesting history with an artistic design. More often than not, one side is quite different than the other! Perhaps the sun has faded one side and the other side the tones are still vibrant, its always a fun surprise ~ Perfect for a French country, cottage, or eclectic kitchen aesthetic. Wonderful for having family and friends gather at the table together without worrying if things get messy- these are not only stylish but utilitarian as it can be simply hand washed or dry cleaned. The warm tones are perfect for brightening a cool late fall or winter night!
