The stripes on one side and plain linen on the other. It dates from the late 1800's . Hand woven linen and cotton ~ ~ The most gorgeous grainsack fabric ~If this textile is opened out , the panels can be used separately! Ideal for pillows, table cloth , bed cover, curtains, shower curtain , upholstery fabric that will wear like iron! ~*~ you name it!! This wonderful textile is hand woven linen panels and seamed together to make this large piece. It was once a feather bed duvet cover, but today it can be just about anything your imagination can conjure up ~This fabric dates c1930 and is a hemp and cotton blend with twill weave. VERY durable and beautiful too! The stripes are blues and reds, ~*~ ~*~ Heavy weight, ideal for upholstery, pillows etc! Lovely medium blue stripes and off-white linen / cotton~ A wonderful texture ~ !!! ! Some of the sides are raw ~ ( not hemmed) heavy weight fabric, ideal for finishing as a table cloth, using to make pillows, upholstering a chair, separating the panels and making table runners, dig beds , bolster pillows, you name it! ~*~ ~ Machine washable over and over and over again. Built to withstand the test of time and heavy use ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful textile measures approximately 51 inches wide by 69 inches ( both sides measure this, so you're getting one striped panel measuring this and the back panel of antique linen measuring this ! ~*~ CONDITION: ~I've freshly laundered this stunning textile and it's ready to use! The corners have holes from use. There are a few very small , pale marks ~ ~ the backing has many small holes especially down at the bottom! The plain linen backing is best saved for sewing projects or the top for uphlstery ~ this textile is not in perfect condition , but perfectly wonderful!
