About 50” plus the fringes, about 5/8” wide. I used my tape ( box ) loom and brown and light natural ( the shade is called Parchment ) cotton yarn and hemp twine to weave this strap. Though I have a better color selection in cotton yarn, I found that the straps feel a little too flimsy, so I use hemp twine to weave the cotton warp threads together. The result is a strap that is more flexible than the pure hemp strap yet strong and durable. The ends are securely double weaved. My customers tell me it holds up very well. Great for your powder horn. The fringe is abt. 7" long so it could be used to attach the strap to the powder horn. The hunting bag and powder horn shown, featuring my straps, and the loom I use are not for sale.
