Description: This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Turquoise. The asking price is far below today’s market value and firm. This highly sought after Navajo design features a stunning display of turquoise clustered over a large bed of heavy gauge sterling silver. The stones are in wonderful condition while resting tight and secure in sawtooth bezels. They portray an array of shades ranging from blue to blueish green with natural matrixes running throughout. Beautiful silver-work consisting of droplets and twisted rope accompany the stones making for a classic cluster design. Matching side flanks follow the face on each side adding support to the shanks. Three shanks of heavy gauge sterling silver support the face and side flanks. The rounded shanks are super sturdy and in excellent shape. Several etchings are visible on the back of the face including numbers and possibly the Artist’s signature. There is no sterling stamp which is common with older Navajo jewelry however, the silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of .925 sterling. This Navajo statement piece is truly incredible. It’s an important piece of Native American history and culture. Add this tangible asset to your collection and wear it with pride! ***MEASUREMENTS AND DETAILS***Weight - 89.7 Grams Inside Measurement (End to End) - The inside measures 5-3/4” around from end to end. Gap - Currently the gap measures 1-1/8”…heavy force would be needed to adjust the gap due to the shanks being very solid. Total Size of Cuff Including Gap - The total size measures 6-7/8” and should fit a wrist between 6-1/2” and 7”….a 7” wrist may need to adjust the gap a little larger. Cuff Face/Shank Measurements - The cuff face measures 3-1/2” tall by 3” wide (when measured against the curvature of the face). The side flanks measure just a hair over 1-3/4” tall by just under 1/2” wide. The 3 shanks have a spread of 1-3/4” wide at back center and taper down to each end measuring 9/16” wide(just over 1/2”). Stone Measurements - The center stone measures 3/8” long by 1/4” wide while the neighboring snake eye stones measure 1/4” wide or just under. The remaining stones are all slightly smaller. Signed By Artist - MAYBE, a signature is etched in script and appears to read as follows, Sylvia Radosevich…this name could be the Artist but, more than likely its a previous owner. Numbers reading 527 44 3335 are also etched….the numbers are spaced apart like a social security number…???
