Description: Thank you for viewing this product. Our family has run a store that has been around for over 150 years.I decided to sell historical items that were sitting in a warehouse because I wanted to add them to someone's collection around the world. This is one of my great-grandmother's collection. It is a wooden Kokeshi doll for Hinamatsuri. In Japan, March 3rd is Girls' Festival, and every year we celebrate by displaying Hina dolls. The red one is for women, and is called Hina-sama. The green one is for men, and is called Dairi-sama.I haven't seen many Hina dolls of this type.It is brightly colored, has no scratches or noticeable stains, and is 8cm wide, so it has a strong presence. It is wearing an old kimono, which makes it very Japanese. Why not add it to your collection in your home? *Import duties, taxes and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. As this is a used item, there may be no customs fees. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
