I WILL BE SELLING LEATHER NECKLACE IN ANOTHER LISTING). I collected several large Carolyn Pollack pendants while I was working but now that I am retired and downsizing, I have decided to sell them. This is a very large Abalone Ornate Cross (3 1/8” L x 2 3/16” W). The center of the cross has a round bezel set Garnet stone (representing the blood of Jesus) and 8 smaller Peridot stones at the end of curling branches (representing the cross/tree that Jesus died on). The cross has ornate leaves and filigree in Sterling Silver. Carolyn Pollack designed this beautiful symbolic cross as a signature of Christianity. This cross is truly a designer piece that is perfect for sun up to sun down with any outfit. Carolyn Pollack began her Southwest jewelry business in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA in 1975. She began her interest in design when she was a child helping her mother sew clothing. She loved the Native American stories she grew up hearing and decided to open a business for Southwest Native American jewelry to continue the legacy that she loved. She located her business in USA using Native Americans as craftsmen, manufacturing everything by hand using Native American designs and American products. She designed a stunning line of jewelry that has transcended not only the traditional western style to a timeless, refined, glamorous, and incredible fashion statement. She and her husband have retired and closed their manufacturing plant and now QVC is continuing the manufacturing but in another country. I am now retired and downsizing my home. This pendant enhancer has been stored in my climate controlled smoke free home since purchasing. All of my items for sale were purchased by me from reputable retailers and are authentic.
