Description: This beautiful set is perfect for any African-inspired wardrobe. Made in Ghana, West Africa, these three pieces are hand-woven with intricate Kente patterns. This set was bought in the kente weaving village Bonwire, located in the Ashanti region of Ghana. The name of the pattern translates to “Man is Money”. I personally bought this set from the weaver. It is a great addition to any collection of African textiles. There are two eight strip pieces each measuring 38 inches by 66 inches and one nine strip piece measuring 44 inches by 66 inches. The pieces have not been modified and are in their original form. Please refer to the pictures. You can see some small spots of the black background thread shows through. Also there is a small space between two of the strips in one of the 8 strip pieces. Please refer to the last picture.
