Description: Marine Boat King Starboard Fire extinguisher holder. Color is Black Machined out of 1/2” king starboard, drawn up by an engineer and machined on a CNC router to exact specifications. This holder is very robust! These holders fit the 3.25” diameter kiddie fire extinguishers sold at west marine and other places. Series 5, 10, and 110. These also fit the regular red kiddie extinguishers series 5, 10, and 110. The upper arm of the holder has a tight lockup on the fire extinguisher neck. It audibly snaps into place but still pulls out with a firm tug. The lower arm has a light lockup on the main body of the bottle. It audibly snaps into place like the upper arm but it’s much softer to facilitate quick removal. I t was designed like this on purpose so it has good retention but still pulls out easily when tilted up from the bottom, like someone would naturally do when pulling it out of the holder. With the lower arm rotated closed and pinned it is very tight, and keeps the bottle from bouncing around or rotating on its own. The lower arm can be setup to open left or right hand. It has 4 countersunk holes for mounting. They are drilled and countersunk for #8 oval or flat head screws or bolts. The mounting hardware is not included because bolt/screws and lengths many vary depending on your particular installation and 4 bolts /screws are around $2-4 at your local hardware store. All hardware is stainless. Designed and manufactured in the USA.
