First is the year of manufacture. The guns made up to 1975 have the locking pin located at 1/4 inch. See the pic with the serial number chart for confirmation - if the first 2 digits of your serial number is 25 or higher, then this is the correct era tube. After 1975, the locking pin location was moved to 5/16”. The second variable is the length. These tubes are for rifles with an 18 inch barrel and outer magazine tube that stops at the end of the stock. My listings and pictures both implore buyers to measure before ordering. ATTN eBay: This is not a Magazine. Capacity = 1 Please check the length of your rifle's outer tube and the distance from the end of the tube to the locking notch to confirm fit before ordering. Will not fit the Full Length Rifle models with the 22 inch barrel. This is a Reproduction magazine tube made to the exact specs of the original. The tube is made of brass. Overall length including the follower is 11 & 13/16 inches. The brass tube is 10 inches and with the knurled knob it measures 10 and 1/2 inches. The locking pin is 1/4 inch from the end of the brass tube. Replaces Marlin part number 507122. Please note there are 2 styles of Inner tubes for the Marlin Model 60, depending on when the rifle was manufactured. The only difference is the location of the Locking Pin. This inner magazine tube is drop in ready and made in the USA. Will not work on rifles made after 1975.
