This gorgeous individual was found by me and my fiance on October 2, 2022 at precisely 2:09 pm. This meteorite weighs 231.40 grams and has regmaglypts, fresh fusion crust on one side with amazing unique shape, blue Iridescent secondary fusion crust, Georgia soil and grass stains still present from landing in someone's front yard. Thanks for your interest and take care GEORGIA JUNCTION CITY FALL: History: At approximately 12:04 am EDT (4:04 UTC) in the overnight hours of September 26, 2022, a bright fireball lit of the sky over Talbot County Georgia. More than 60 witnesses reported the meteor on the American Meteor Society (AMS) website. Two cameras (AMS 129 and AMS 148) connected to the American Meteor Society Network owned by local planetary astronomer Ed Albin captured the event. The data were analyzed by Ed Albin and fellow AMS operator Pat Branch. After seismic and doppler radar a likely fall location near Junction City, Georgia was determined. There have only been 9 stones found total, I found two of them weighing 161 grams stone 231.40 grams. One of the stones that was found by my friend Pat Branch was smashed up on the highway (hammer stone), more than 700 grams were recovered from this single stone, many fragments. I was able to recover 12.6 grams and I have very little material for sale at the moment. This meteorite is being analyzed now and will be classified very soon, most like it an ordinary chondrite.
