Description: Here's another handmade drop-in replacement rear / back panel set I am making available (per customer requests). This one is for your Vox AC4C1 1X12 combo amp. All you need is a screwdriver to remove old panels and install these new ones. This set was based on original vintage Vox combo cabinets from the 60's.Why upgrade? Well first, this looks better! Secondly, this panel set provides an improvement in sound and efficiency over the stock panels which make the amp sound rather constipated. Also, if you chose to upgrade your speaker now you can show it off from the back!This panel configuration I came up with has a more open "port" and positioned directly behind the speaker magnet. This is an increase from the factory opening and more closely resembling 60's vintage AC15's combo cabinets. This design also allows convenient access to store the AC power cord and footswitch inside cabinet - which the stock panel set would not allow. These are made out of MDF board and are covered in authentic Hiwatt / Vox tolex from Mojotone.I originally made these panel sets for the AC15HW series amps but had a ton of people ask if I would make them for the AC4 so voila!
