Description: The Orange Crush company was formed in 1911, by Clayton Howel and Neil Ward. Mr. Howel was the inventor of the Orange Julep. Mr. Ward joined the company and invented the formula for Orange Crush, which originally had orange pulp in it, and was first known as Ward's Orange Crush. It hasn't had pulp for decades though. It was made to compete with Coca Cola's Fanta Orange. For decades, Orange Crush, with its 3 flavors, was seen in its original Krinkly bottle. In 1980, Crush was sold to Proctor & Gamble; in 1989 P & G sold it to Cadbury Schweppes, and in 2008 spun it off to form the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. On the face of this bottle, is "Orange Crush Co. Bottle Pat'd July 20, 1920". On the side of the mouth is "G14" etched in the glass. This bottle is a Crushy Krinkly design bottle. Sometimes it is called a Beehive bottle. It is bright and beautiful with its bright embossed slug plate. The embossed graphics are very good. The bottle is full, with a brilliant Crush crown cap. There is no case wear on the bottle, very clear, and it has no chips or cracks. Shipping for this bottle will be only $9.00 anywhere in the U.S. for 2-4 day Priority mail. If you purchase another of my many asst. bottles, I will ship up to 4 more FREE with your new Orange Crush bottle.
