Description: True vintage post-war mid-century classic dressy dress made by a professional tailor. Condition is excellent with no flaws found. Original Coats & Clark metal zipper works smoothly in back. Tailoring is exceptional with a hook and loop at the top of the zip, strap holders sewn in at the neckline, hem is finished with tape. Looks as though it was made for a queen. The fabric is a glossy jacquard with an abstract floral design. Piping at the nipped waist and on the shaped bodice. 3/4 sleeves trimmed with natural fur. Style is a short ball gown with fitting to the the waistline and a full circle skirt below. Raglan shoulder line. Wide neckline squared in front and scooped in back. There is about 1" hem allowance. Dress has NOT been cleaned. It is pictured on a vintage mannequin which wears a modern size 2 and is about 5' 8" tall. The measurements of this dress are for about a modern size 0 - 2 and were taken lying flat. Please see photos and details above and compare to a dress which fits you well.
