Description: This is a Restored Waterman Commando in Dark Blue color, with a 14 K #5 Ideal nib. The pen is in excellent condition and ready to write. Please see the photos and full description below.The pen has been fully serviced. It was disassembled, the nib and feed were ultrasonically cleaned, it was manually and lightly polished after covering the imprints and metal parts, and a new sac was installed. After assembling the pen, it was inspected, tested and the nib was tuned. It writes nicely, with good flow and should be ready to write for many years. Nib: A large Waterman's Ideal #5 14 K gold nib. It is a firm extra-fine (please see the writing sample in the last photo; the squares are 5mm x 5mm).Filling system: lever filler, with new sac.Size: about 5 1/16 in (~ 12.9 cm)Body and Cap: The plastic is very clean, there are no cracks or deep scratches. There are micro-scratches and, maybe, some light scratches compatible with the age and use.Imprints: the imprints are clear and crisp.Trim: the trim is in very good+ condition. The cap bands show a little bit of brassing and they rotate in place (but are, otherwise, firmly attached). The clip has a tiny bit of brassing at the tip.Personal engravings: NONE.
