Description: Sibley Lindsay & Curr was a very famous department store in Rochester NY. They opened in the late 1800s and stayed open until 1990. This nightshirt dates from around the turn of the century, and has a very old woven Sibley Lindsay & Curr label. It is a medium weight cotton with woven ribbon trim around the neckline. This came from the estate of a family friend who is in her 70s. This nightshirt and another I also have listed belonged to her great grandfather and have been carefully stored in a chest for all these decades. Its a wonderful vintage garment in really fine wearable condition, a great addition to your collection! It measures 18" across the shoulder, 25" across the chest, 20" sleeves length and 48" long down the back.
