Description: Vintage WWII US NAVY Military Pin Brooch, Eagle Anchor Shield Insignia, STERLING Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE WWII MILITARY PIN Lovely vintage WWII US NAVY military Insignia pin measuring about 1" in size. Featuring a stars and stripes shield mounted with an open winged Eagle, anchor and ropes criss-cross behind the shield. Bearing numerous stamps on back, it is sterling, overlaid with gold fill, it is stamped 1/20 10KT+STER as well as STERLING on the wing back - bearing an H-H, probably for Hilburn Hamburger. Condition is lovely - bar and roller locking closure work as they should - decoration is crisp and pin is without issues. This belonged to my Dad - he is 96 and served in the Navy in WWII, so assuming he received it sometime in the life of his service. Nice addition to any military badge collection!
